Pat Lajoie is the founder and owner of Guitar Explorations and is a registered guitar tutor with London College of Music. Pat is now available to teach via Skype.

How do I register for Skype guitar lessons with Pat Lajoie?

The first thing to do when booking a Skype lesson with me is to shoot me an email.

You can get in touch with Pat via his contact page.

Pat lives and operate in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia which falls in the Australian Eastern Standard Time Zone (AEST).  Once we have agreed upon a time, payment must be made through Paypal before the lesson(s) can begin.

 What do I need to take Skype lessons?

A reliable internet connection, webcam with mic and your guitar! And Skype and Paypal of course…

What can I expect during the lesson?

You can expect the utmost professionalism and respect for your goals and aspirations on the instrument. Material is broken down into easy step-by-step methods, with examples and supporting materials. At the end of the lesson, you will receive notes from me via email on the topics covered in the lesson. You will also receive a pdf copy of notation or chord/scale grids for any topics or exercises covered in the lesson.

How should I prepare for my first lesson?

In our e-mail dialogue, I will ask you about your goals with the instrument. This is your chance to let me know all about your musical tastes and what it is that you enjoy about Jazz guitar. If you are new to Skype lessons, don’t worry, I will happily take the time to answer any technical questions or concerns you might have about the set-up.
